“Bedrooms should only have two purposes—sleep and sex. Anything else can potentially affect our health negatively.”
🛌🏿 You might be surprised to discover where you’re going wrong in the bedroom — in order to get a good night’s sleep, that is. 😉
Bedrooms should be a sanctuary for sleep. Color, temperature, mattress, light and sound all play a part, and this helpful guide shows exactly how to optimize your sleeping space for the peace we all dream of.
This Week’s Cool Thing
📱 ‘Alexa, send me to sleep.’
Smart tech is inching ever closer to supporting a great night’s rest. We got a little thrill reading about exciting innovations like ‘Smart Beds’ and wearable aids that were showcased at the huge Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January.
The days of counting sheep are over. 🐑🐏 (That’s not to say you can’t ask Alexa to count them for you, though.)
Side Note
🧠 With all the chaos in the news these days, we're thrilled to share this highlight from Beautiful News about the US federal government sticking to its pledge to prevent and effectively treat Alzheimer’s by 2025.
Millions of dollars have been allocated to fund research intended to improve diagnosis and treatment for this devastating disease.
Back Matter
If you got something out of this email and know someone else who would too, we’d love it if you forwarded it to them.
And if you want to improve your sleep (or the sleep of someone you care about), all of our products are designed to do just that.
Finally, if you come across anything interesting this week, feel free to send it our way! We love sharing things that we find through readers of this newsletter.
Have a great week,
The Manta Sleep crew
P.S. — We’re trying something new with this email. We’d love to know: what do you think?
