Actionable wisdom:
““We exercise for a purpose: for cardiovascular health, to increase lean muscle mass, to improve endurance, and more. All of these 'goals' require sleep,” says W. Christopher Winter, MD, the president of Charlottesville Neurology and Sleep Medicine.”
💪 You know that exercise contributes to getting a good night’s sleep. But here’s something you may not know: it goes both ways.
Without solid sleep, your workout doesn’t benefit your body as much — and you’ll struggle to get yourself to the gym in the first place. Try these techniques to maximize your results, energy and motivation at your next workout.
This week’s cool thing:

Side note:
🐘 If you’re feeling restless because you’re stuck indoors, take a 3-hour sunrise safari through Kruger National Park in South Africa and enjoy a virtual vacation with elephants, baby hyenas, meerkats and other creatures in their natural habitat. (This channel also streams live safaris regularly!)

Back matter:
As always, if you got something out of this email and know someone else who would too, we’d love it if you forwarded it to them.
And if you want to improve your sleep (or the sleep of someone you care about), all of our products are designed to do just that.
Finally, if you come across anything interesting this week, feel free to send it our way! We love sharing things that we find through readers of this newsletter.
Have a great week,
